Job Description
• Implementation of Quality Assurance & Quality Control procedures at site meeting Organizational, Contractual, Regulatory & Statutory requirements
• Ensure Quality induction for Rays Power Employees & Contractor Supervisors /Workmen
• Lead a team of Quality Engineers of various discipline (Civil /Structural & Electrical)
• Ensure implementation of Field Quality Plan (FQP) & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at site
• Ensure Quality Tool Box Training as per training calendar
• Take proactive measures to prevent non-conformances in construction
• Daily interaction with QA/QC representatives of customer to address their concern and initiate corrective measures appropriately
• Record Observations/NCR's in case of deviations and suggest corrective measures
• Daily /Weekly Quality reports & Monthly Quality statistics
• Organize Weekly Review Meeting with HO-Quality,Project Manager &Quality Engineers
• Carryout Field quality inspections (Both Scheduled & Surveillance) independently as and when required
• Initiate performance evaluation(qualitative) of contractors
• Ensure closure of all Observations/NCR's prior to certifying contractor's running bills and prior to submission of running bills to customer Attributes
• Well organized and structured, with the ability to work effectively against deadlines
• Very good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• High degree of integrity and make decisions required by role's responsibility
• Capable of coordinating work within the project and handling conflict resolutions
• Leadership & Training skills
