Role Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with expertise in , Java, and to design and develop high-quality, scalable applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting solutions, leading a development team, and ensuring code quality and performance. This role requires hands-on technical leadership and collaboration with global teams to drive projects from development to production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and design scalable solutions, creating Delivery Playbooks and technical documentation.
  • Provide accurate project estimations and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Maintain high coding standards, enforcing best practices and performance optimizations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Oversee feature development and bug fixes, ensuring no regressions are introduced.
  • Drive projects through the development lifecycle, from environments to production deployment.
  • Collaborate with onshore teams during PST office hours, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
  • Implement test automation using Jest (Unit Tests) and Playwright (Component Tests).
  • Conduct performance analysis and optimizations during feature development and delivery.
Required Skills & Expertise:
  • Expertise in (2.x), including best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Strong experience in (14/16) and Java.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Micro Frontend (MFE) and Backend for Frontend (BFF) architectures.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation (Jest, Playwright).
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Desirable Competencies:
  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers.
  • 2+ years of experience working with global teams.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility best practices.
