Job Description Mould Loader

Position: Mould Loader

Department: Production / Moulding

Location: Jalgaon

Job Purpose:

To handle moulds during the production process, ensuring safe loading/unloading, proper mould setup, and smooth functioning of moulding machines to achieve production targets with quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload moulds on injection moulding/press machines as per production schedule.
• Assist in mould setup, alignment, and clamping under the guidance of the technician.
• Ensure proper handling of moulds to avoid damage.
• Support production operators in starting/stopping machines after mould change.
• Maintain cleanliness of moulds, tools, and work area.
• Follow safety standards while handling heavy moulds and use proper PPE.
• Report any mould damage, malfunction, or safety issue immediately to the supervisor.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and lubrication of moulds when required.
• Maintain records/logbook of mould loading/unloading activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for smooth operations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of moulding machine operations.
• Ability to handle tools, lifting equipment, and tackle safety precautions.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy moulds.
• Teamwork and discipline in following instructions.

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum 10th/12th Pass or ITI preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in mould loading/unloading in injection moulding or similar environment.
• Fresher candidates with willingness to learn may also be considered.

Work Conditions:

• Plant-based role, requires working in shifts.
• Physical work involving lifting, shifting, and handling moulds.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols.
