Plumber/Electrician

Job Summary:

The Plumber & Electrician (PEB Structure) is responsible for carrying out all plumbing and electrical installation, repair, and maintenance work at PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) project sites. The role ensures safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical systems, water supply, drainage, and sanitary lines in industrial and structural facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plumbing Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain water supply pipelines, drainage systems, and sanitary fittings in PEB structures.
• Carry out plumbing layout and connections for restrooms, overhead tanks, and utility areas.
• Repair leakages, blockages, valves, and pressure lines.
• Support in installing industrial water lines, pump connections, and drainage points.
• Perform hydro testing and ensure plumbing works meet required standards and project drawings.

Electrical Responsibilities:

• Install, connect, and maintain electrical wiring, distribution boards, lighting systems, and control panels in PEB buildings.
• Lay electrical conduits and cable trays as per design drawings and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, switches, motors, and equipment connections.
• Ensure proper earthing, load balancing, and cable terminations.
• Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical installations at site.

General Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret plumbing and electrical layout drawings.
• Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate with project engineers, welders, fabricators, and civil teams for installation alignment.
• Maintain daily work records, material usage, and report progress to the supervisor.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable safety and quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Plumbing & Electrical or relevant trade certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in plumbing and electrical work at industrial / PEB project sites.
• Knowledge of PEB structure layout, installation methods, and utility connections.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of site safety norms.
• Physically fit and able to work in construction site conditions.
