Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative 2D AutoCAD Interior Designer to develop accurate interior layout drawings, space plans, furniture placement, and technical detailing. The ideal candidate should have strong drafting skills, a good design sense, and the ability to translate concepts into precise 2D drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and technical layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Prepare space planning and furniture layout drawings based on design concepts and requirements.
  • Develop working drawings for residential/commercial interior projects.
  • Coordinate with the design team to understand project requirements and ensure accuracy in all drawings.
  • Update and revise drawings as per client feedback or project changes.
  • Ensure all drawings follow standards, measurement accuracy, and project guidelines.
  • Assist in preparing presentation drawings when required.
  • Maintain drawing documentation and file organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a 2D AutoCAD Draftsman/Interior Designer.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting).
  • Good understanding of interior layouts, space planning, and detailing.
  • Ability to interpret design concepts and convert them into precise drawings.
  • Knowledge of materials, fixtures, and interior design elements is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, AutoCad, Sketchup etc.
  • Portfolio of previous AutoCAD drawings (preferred).

Contract length: 12 months
