Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead Cloud & Data Engineering (SME) to architect, design, and lead large-scale data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS, Spark, Data Integration, and Cloud Orchestration, with strong leadership skills to mentor teams and drive enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end design and delivery of cloud-based data engineering solutions.
  • Architect scalable and secure solutions leveraging AWS Cloud services.
  • Build and optimize distributed data pipelines using Apache Spark.
  • Design and implement data integration frameworks across diverse systems.
  • Manage cloud orchestration for large-scale workflows and automation.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to define technical strategies.
  • Provide technical mentorship and thought leadership across teams.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 12+ years of proven experience in Cloud & Data Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in AWS Cloud and its ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for big data processing.
  • Proficiency in data integration techniques & tools.
  • Expertise in cloud orchestration platforms (e.g., Airflow, Step Functions, EKS).
  • Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and driving large-scale solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, architecture, and communication skills.
Good to Have
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (GCP/Azure).
  • Familiarity with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
