Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Associate in Taxation, located in Chennai. The Senior Associate will handle tax planning and compliance, provide strategic tax advice, and ensure adherence to tax regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, managing tax audits, and collaborating with clients to address their taxation needs effectively. The role will also involve staying updated on tax laws and ensuring the timely filing of returns and reports.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Taxation, including tax planning, compliance, and regulatory adherence
  • Experience with tax audits, tax research, and preparing tax returns
  • Strong knowledge of financial management and corporate finance concepts
  • Attention to detail with skills in problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client collaboration
  • Relevant qualifications such as CA or other professional certification in taxation, or a degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in a professional services firm or consulting environment preferred
