Job Title - Project Manager

Location - HYD

Working days- 5 days (9:30am- 5:30 pm)

Background:-

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with expertise in PLC systems and control engineering to support the execution of industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PLC programming and cabinet design, system architecture, and project coordination. This role requires close collaboration with drafting teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery in line with schedule and quality requirements.

Electrical Industry Experience in Substation Automation : Power Substation / Oil & Gas / Plants / Refineries / Electrical Assets (transformer/GIS/Motors/Generator)

Project Manager Responsibilities:

PLC & System Engineering

• Review and validate PLC system drawings, wiring diagrams, and control cabinet layouts.
• Evaluate and contribute to system architecture design for automation solutions.
• Ensure PLC hardware and cabinet designs comply with technical standards and project specifications.

Project Execution

• Prepare, review, and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with the drafting/design team for the creation and finalization of project drawings.
• Participate in customer review meetings to clarify requirements and align deliverables.
• Support and coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with the customer.
• Align and adjust the project execution schedule based on customer requirements.
• Prepare cost & margin reports
• Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
• Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.

Collaboration & Communication

• Act as the technical interface between the customer, drafting team, and project management.
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and changes to internal stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve design or execution challenges quickly and effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with major PLC platforms
• Experience in industrial automation projects (energy, utilities, manufacturing, or process industries).
• Knowledge of international electrical standards and codes.

Project Manager Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering.
• 8 -10 or more years' field and project planning experience in Electrical Substation Automation Industry
• PMP /PMI Certification.
• Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
• The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
• Excellent project management and supervision skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
