Job Overview:

SoftClouds LLC is looking for a Full-Time Salesforce Delivery Manager who has a key role to deliver Salesforce solutions to our customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

§ Cultivating and strengthening client relationships

and Successful delivery of all projects in the practice, irrespective of their day-to-day involvement (or not) in the project

§ Mentor and manage teams of consultants to keep projects on time and review work done by the team.

Responsible for Growth of people and quality of the delivery

§ Serving as a trusted advisor to understand client needs, provide strategic guidance, and ensure client satisfaction.

§ Driving the development and delivery of innovative Salesforce solutions that align with client business objectives and industry best practices.

§ Act as Primary Contact for several key clients responsible for daily operations on one or more projects. As we grow, you will build a larger team underneath you.

§ Communicate and report project status to client leadership and IT management, including budget, risks, and general business issues.

§ Understand Salesforce technologies being used on a project to be able to direct how to design, develop, test, and manage the technical implementation.

§ Analyze each client's specific request, determine the underlying problem, and recommend proper solutions.

§ Be able to work hands-on in creating deliverables, which could include strategy, design, development, testing applications, and delivering training.

§ Identify strengths and issues; drive and develop better behaviour to create strong consultants.

§ Participate actively in the recruiting process for other consultants.

§ Coach and manage other consultants and participate actively in the performance expectation process.

§ Cultivating and strengthening client relationships

§ Driving the development and delivery of innovative Salesforce solutions that align with client business objectives and industry best practices.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Pulse of every project with the ability to step in as needed
  • Set architectural and coding standards across the practice
  • Participate in and delegate coding, peer, and other reviews
  • Establish and monitor quality metrics
  • Present solution designs and solution architecture
  • Review implementations and advise on best practices, shortfalls, and opportunities

People Management responsibilities

  • Monitor billing and utilization and predict resourcing needs
  • Monitor team skills and determine upskilling path for team
  • Drive higher quality of consultants and deliverables

Qualifications:

·      Experienced candidates must have 15+ years of experience working for a consulting firm or a professional services division of a software company in a business analyst/consulting manager role.

·      Must have a strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Platform, and other CRM technology solutions.

·      MUST have several Trailhead-verified Salesforce certifications.

·      Lead discovery workshops, which include the facilitation of large audiences, solution presentations, and prototype demonstrations.

·      Excellent organizational, verbal, presentation/facilitation, and written communication skills are necessary.

·      Ability to work independently and within a team environment backed up by strong communication skills.

·      Consulting experience in delivery leadership relative to iterative software development as a Program Lead, Engagement Lead, and similar roles leading complex projects.

·      Experience in leading capabilities and groups of (up to) 50+ individuals distributed nationally and globally

·      Experience selling and delivering business solutions on the Salesforce platform; demonstrated ability to speak to the delivery approach(es) and considerations for different sizes and scales of projects and clients across Salesforce clouds.

·      Experience in all phases of product development, software development, and testing lifecycles

·      Experience in management of established technology and product departments with mature program

management processes and standards for both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies

·      Experience with recruiting and building teams; experienced management with a history of mentoring others

·      Experience with delivery governance and status tracking tools and processes to support oversight and quality assurance on a global project portfolio

·      Experience writing RFPs and SOWs, reviewing proposals with clients, and negotiating contracts

·      Expert business operations experience (e.g., invoicing, SOW, margins, utilization)

·      Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to audiences of all levels, including client-facing skills

·      Expert in Agile software delivery methodologies

·      Passion for building Salesforce and other software solutions with state-of-the-art technology

·      Embrace challenging situations and enjoy solving complex problems.

·      Expert at project delivery, including all aspects of program management and the SDLC


Education:

·      Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Computer Science/Engineering.

·      Several Trailhead-verified Salesforce certifications
