The Accountant is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, preparing financial reports, and maintaining compliance with statutory regulations. The role involves handling day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice management, expense tracking, and assisting in financial analysis and audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily transactions and journal entries accurately.
  • Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts regularly.
  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, and petty cash.
  • Prepare and verify customer and vendor invoices.
  • Track payments, receipts, and outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily cash flow.
  • Prepare VAT/GST returns and ensure ZATCA/e-invoicing compliance.
  • Assist in audits, tax filing, and statutory reporting.
  • Generate financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Maintain proper financial documentation and records.
  • Follow internal control procedures and protect financial data.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience (ERP experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws (IFRS/SOCPA for KSA).
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Odoo, or ERP systems).
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ZATCA e-Invoicing, VAT filing, and bank reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of financial module integration in ERP systems.
