What You'll Do:

We are especially interested in candidates with experience in Artificial Intelligence technologies, including working with large language models (LLMs), generative AI (GenAI), and the ability to develop and operationalize AI capabilities using SAP AI Core.

As an AI Senior Developer in the Service Cloud team, the primary responsibility will be to develop product features within the Service portfolio, integrating AI-driven solutions, and helping the team deliver services on the cloud-native stack on a continuous basis.
You will work with a highly motivated and talented set of colleagues. You will:

• Be a motivated, self-starter who can operate with minimal handholding.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and performant technical solutions.
• Design, code, test, and assure the quality of complex AI-powered product features within our Customer Experience & Service portfolio.
• Contribute to the integration of AI-powered capabilities into SAP CX solutions using SAP AI Core and LLMs.
• Build intelligent, adaptive services using generative AI to enhance service workflows and customer interactions.
• Collaborate across teams and time zones, demonstrating flexibility and accountability.

What You Bring:

• 8 years of software engineering experience, with significant exposure to building products on the cloud-native stack.
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Java; Spring Boot experience preferred.
• Familiarity with JavaScript; experience with Angular or ABAP is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record of writing production-grade code for enterprise-scale systems.
• Experience with SQL databases; knowledge of NoSQL and event streaming (e.g., Kafka) is a bonus.
• Experience working with LLMs and generative AI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to build or integrate AI-driven features into enterprise applications.
• Experience with SAP software (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform) is an asset.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI and frameworks.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience using tools like JIRA for tracking tasks and bugs.

Meet your Team

The team primarily works on SAP Sales Cloud - Sales and Retail Execution topics. The topics include Sales Order, Sales Quote, Sales Contract, Survey, Perfect Store, Pricing, Library Management, Product Lists. Solution also integrates with core processes of SAP Sales Cloud and SAP S/4 HANA. The solution will be developed using an event-driven microservice architecture involving open source technologies and components like Java, Angular, K8s, Kafka, MongoDB, Elastic Search.
