Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Institutional & Display Solutions

Vacancy Location: Coimbatore ,Chennai, Madurai, Trichy
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly dynamic Area Sales Manager (ASM) with strong experience in educational institution sales, software & hardware solution selling, and display device sales.
The role involves meeting and building relationships with:
- Schools
- Colleges & Universities
- Hospitals & Healthcare Institutions
- Corporate Companies
- Training Centers / Skill Development Institutions
The ASM must represent company products like Interactive Flat Panels, Commercial Displays, LED Panels, Digital special displays, LED Walls.
Key Responsibilities
1. Institutional Business Development
- Identify and onboard schools, colleges, universities, and educational groups.
- Promote IFPs, display devices, software solutions, and educational hardware packages.
- Conduct product demos, presentations, seminars, and training sessions for faculty & management.
- Build strong relations with principals, IT heads, trustees, and purchase committees.
2. Corporate & Healthcare Sales
- Generate business from corporate offices, hospitals, clinics, training centers, and meeting rooms.
- Position solutions such as commercial displays, video walls, meeting room solutions, signage systems, etc.
3. Field Sales & Lead Management
- Visit institutions daily (minimum 3–5 productive meetings).
- Convert leads from marketing, tele calling, and channel partners.
- Provide accurate price quotes, proposals, and product comparisons.
4. Channel & Dealer Collaboration
- Work with resellers, system integrators, and AV partners to expand market reach.
- Support partners with presentations, tenders, and technical documentation.
5. Sales Target & Reporting
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, pipeline updates, and market feedback.
- Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies.
6. Product Knowledge & Training
- Maintain strong understanding of:
- Educational Software (LMS, ERP, virtual classroom tools)
- Hardware (IFP, projectors, displays, LED walls)
- AV solutions & connectivity systems
- Train end-users on product features and usage.
Skills & Qualifications Required Education:
- Any degree; candidates with BTech, BE, MBA, or IT/Electronics background preferred.
Experience:
- 2–6 years in Institutional / EdTech / AV / Display / Software sales.
- Experience dealing with schools, colleges, hospitals, and corporates is a must.
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of interactive panels, commercial displays, LED panels, and AV systems.
- Knowledge of educational software, ERP, LMS, and hardware integration.
- Ability to deliver product demo presentations effectively.
Sales Skills:
- Strong communication (English & Tamil).
- Excellent negotiation and customer handling capability.
- High field activity and meeting-driven mindset.
- Ability to handle long sales cycles (institutional approvals).
