Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineering Consultant to evaluate and enhance our client's current quality organization, processes, and practices. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.

This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to understand domain-specific challenges and deliver tailored, actionable recommendations that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess existing QA/QC frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
  • Benchmark current practices against industry standards and identify gaps.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve quality processes and governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and technical constraints.
  • Design and propose scalable quality solutions aligned with the customer's domain.
  • Support implementation planning and change management initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Quality Engineering, QA/QC strategy, and process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO, CMMI, Six Sigma).
  • Experience working across diverse domains and organizational structures.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical assessments into business-focused recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISTQB, PMP).
  • Experience in consulting or advisory roles.
