Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address support issues in production and non-production environments, resolving service outages and policy failures in IBM DataPower and Azure APIM.
  • Platform Upgrades: Plan and execute DataPower firmware upgrades, ensuring zero-downtime implementations and coordinating post-upgrade validations.
  • Certificate Management: Handle periodic certificate renewals and replacements, updating keystores and trust stores, and validating SSL handshakes to minimize service disruptions.
  • Production Deployments: Manage production releases by deploying and validating DataPower configurations, policies, and scripts, including rollback planning.

Development Activities:

  • Design and implement Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW) configurations for multi-format, multi-protocol integrations.
  • Gather business requirements and create secure APIs in Azure API Management.
  • Enhance MQ handlers within DataPower to meet new messaging standards and performance requirements.
  • Develop reusable XSLT templates and gateway scripts for dynamic endpoint selection, token validation, and custom logging.
  • Implement intelligent routing mechanisms based on headers, payload, or authentication state.
  • Authentication and Security: Configure AAA policies integrating LDAP, OAuth, and custom credential providers, and implement SAML 2.0-based single sign-on for multiple applications.
