Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Vicidial Developer / Engineer
with proven expertise in
Vicidial, Asterisk, SIP, and telephony systems
, along with strong
Azure Cloud
and
database management
experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining Vicidial-based contact center solutions hosted on cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Vicidial/Asterisk-based contact center systems (Inbound, Outbound, and Blended).
  • Customize and enhance Vicidial functionalities, agent interfaces, and reporting modules.
  • Integrate Vicidial with CRMs, ERPs, and third-party APIs (REST/SOAP/webhooks).
  • Configure and optimize SIP trunks, VoIP routing, and dial plans for performance and reliability.
  • Manage and administer Azure Cloud infrastructure for hosting and scaling Vicidial servers.
  • Implement high availability, load balancing, and disaster recovery on Azure.
  • Monitor system health and ensure uptime, performance, and data security.
  • Manage databases (primarily MySQL; knowledge of Azure SQL is preferred).
  • Perform query optimization, backups, and database performance tuning.
  • Automate deployments and maintenance tasks using scripts (Bash/Python).
  • Troubleshoot call quality, connectivity, and performance-related issues.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Vicidial / Asterisk / GoAutoDial.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux server administration (CentOS/Ubuntu).
  • Deep understanding of SIP, RTP, VoIP, IAX, and trunk setup/configuration.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Services, including VM provisioning, networking, and scaling.
  • Strong experience in MySQL (schema design, indexing, replication, optimization).
  • Exposure to Azure SQL Database is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in dial plan scripting, Asterisk CLI etc.
  • Familiarity with networking, firewalls, and security hardening.
  • Experience with API integrations, call routing logic, and IVR design.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
