Role & responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate nursing activities
- Ensure implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
- Supervise, guide, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Plan and manage duty rosters, leave schedules, and staff deployment.
- Ensure adequate supplies and maintenance of nursing equipment.
- Conduct regular training and development programs for nursing staff.
- Monitor infection control practices and patient safety measures.
- Coordinate with medical, administrative, and support departments for smooth functioning.
- Handle patient and staff grievances related to nursing services.
- Maintain records and reports as per hospital and regulatory requirements.
