Senior Engineer – C++
The Opportunity
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Engineer- C++, in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune. In this role, you will Develop full stack features for our data protection products using C++, C#, and Javascript. The Virtual Server Agent (VSA) of Commvault provides complete backup and recovery solution for virtualized workloads, with support for cloud and multi-cloud environments, on-premises deployments, hybrid environments, and containerized applications.

What You'll Do…
As a senior engineer in the VSA team, you will:

• Develop full stack features for our data protection products using C++, C#, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with development, test, and documentation teams to deliver high-quality projects.
• Create data protection solutions for virtual machines and virtualized applications using VMware APIs and SDKs
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems in complex customer environments.

Who You Are…

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C++
• Knowledge of VMware virtualization software (big advantage).
• Deep understanding of operating systems and virtualization concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Expertise in debugging and troubleshooting software and performance issues.
• Security and Saas experience strongly preferred.
