Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented R&D Executive with 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage formulation. The role involves supporting product development across categories (carbonated beverages, functional drinks, dairy-based products, teas, coffees, etc.), conducting lab-scale trials, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, and assisting in scaling up products to industrial production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the formulation and development of beverages at lab scale based on client briefs.
  • Conduct ingredient research, vendor coordination, and raw material evaluations.
  • Run stability, shelf-life, and sensory evaluation studies; document results.
  • Support in industrial trials, troubleshooting issues during scale-up.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Packaging, and Procurement).
  • Maintain meticulous R&D documentation, SOPs, and sample inventory.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new ingredients, and processing technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI and relevant regulatory guidelines.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related fields.
  • 1–2 years of experience in product development/R&D in the food & beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of beverage formulations (dairy, non-dairy, carbonated, functional).
  • Basic knowledge of food regulations, safety, and quality systems.
  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Hands-on lab skills and familiarity with pilot plant equipment.
