About AMRTM AMRTM is a pioneering initiative by the Dholakia Foundation that transforms conserved and treated rainwater into premium-quality bottled drinking water, promoting sustainability and responsible water use. We are building a model that connects water conservation, innovation, and community impact and we're looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to strengthen our on-ground execution.

Role Overview

The Manager – Operations will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the AMRTM unit, ensuring smooth production, timely order fulfilment, efficient vendor coordination, and accurate database & stock management. This person will act as a key link between departments — production, logistics, sales, and management to ensure flawless execution of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities: Unit Operations

● Oversee daily bottling operations and ensure adherence to SOPs for quality, hygiene, and safety.

● Monitor production timelines and ensure output meets order schedules.

● Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Vendor & Procurement Management

● Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and service vendors.

● Negotiate pricing and delivery terms for packaging material, raw inputs, and logistics.

● Ensure timely procurement and inventory replenishment to avoid shortages.

Database & Documentation Management

● Maintain and update digital records of production, dispatch, stock, and sales.

● Ensure systematic documentation of purchase orders, and invoices

● Track material inflow-outflow using inventory management software or Excel dashboards.

Stock & Inventory Control

● Supervise storage of bottles, caps, cartons, and finished goods.

● Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical vs. recorded inventory.

● Maintain optimum stock levels to balance cost and availability.

Interdepartmental Coordination

● Coordinate with the sales, finance, and logistics teams for smooth execution of orders.

● Provide regular operational updates to the senior management team.

● Support the marketing team with data and dispatch timelines for client deliveries.

Client & Order Management

● Liaise with B2B clients for orders, dispatch planning, and issue resolution.

● Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

● Maintain a positive, service-oriented relationship with partners and clients.

Qualifications & Experience Education:

● Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.

● Candidates with a background in Food Processing / Water Treatment / FMCG production will be preferred.

Experience:

● 3–5 years of relevant experience in unit operations, inventory management, or production coordination, ideally within:

❖ Bottled water / beverage industry

❖ FMCG manufacturing unit

❖ Food or pharma packaging setup

● Hands-on experience in vendor management and logistics coordination is a must.

Skills Required:

● Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

● Working knowledge of MS Excel

● Good communication skills

● Leadership quality with an eye for detail and process improvement
