About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IBM DataStage Developer with strong expertise in ETL design, development, and optimization. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering complex data integration projects and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

  • 8+ years of experience in ETL development and support.
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in IBM DataStage design and development.
  • Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing DataStage ETL jobs for large-scale data integration and migration projects.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL best practices, and performance tuning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex data transformation requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze data flows, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for ETL processes and data mappings.
  • Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling concepts is preferred.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) will be an added advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (B.E/B.Tech preferred).
