Required Skills

• We are seeking a candidate with strong storytelling abilities, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of audience engagement. The candidate should be skilled in scriptwriting and content ideation, capable of developing platform-specific content that aligns with our mission and voice. Proficiency in content planning, brand-consistent messaging, and the ability to write emotionally compelling, value-driven narratives are essential. Experience in developing content strategies and contributing to impactful campaigns across digital formats is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English and Hindi, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Proficiency in grammar, vocabulary, and understanding of cultural nuances is essential.

Roles And Responsibilities.

• Scriptwriting: Write compelling scripts for videos, reels, short films, podcasts or other multimedia content. This includes creating dialogue, defining characters, and setting the narrative flow. The scripts should communicate philosophical, cultural, or spiritual themes effectively.
• Screenplay: Strong ability to visualise how each scene will appear on screen, including the mood, pacing, transitions, and framing. This includes understanding how dialogue, actions, and visual elements will translate cinematically to evoke the desired emotional impact. Crafting a visually engaging and emotionally compelling experience that guides the production teams in bringing the story to life.
• Strong writing skills are crucial for creating engaging and compelling content/scripts. The ability to write in a clear, concise, and creative manner while adapting to different content formats is important.
• Adapt tone, structure, and vocabulary based on the age, platform, and spiritual maturity of the intended audience. Ensure every script has a clear structure (opening-hook-body-close), maintains logical flow, and is edited for accuracy, tone, and clarity.
• Ensure all content, whether written or scripted, consistently reflects the brand's voice, tone, and messaging.
• Adapt Content Across Platforms: Write variations of the script tailored to YouTube, Instagram reels, live stage, or voiceover narrations, keeping platform dynamics in mind.
• Research Skills: Need to conduct thorough research to gather information, verify facts, and stay up-to-date with current trends. Strong research skills will enable you to produce accurate and reliable content. Conduct research from scriptures, lectures, and past ISKCON content to ensure authenticity and philosophical accuracy.
• Avid Reader: As a writer, you will be expected to have a genuine passion for reading and a commitment to regular reading habits. By staying well-informed and up-to-date with diverse forms of literature, current events, industry trends, and relevant research, you will enrich your writing skills and bring fresh perspectives to your work.
• Contribute to the development of content strategies that align with the organisation's objectives and target audience's needs.
• Familiarity with the culture, customs, and traditions of English and Hindi-speaking regions is valuable. Understanding the target audience and tailoring the content to their preferences and interests is essential for effective communication.
• Time Management: Content writing often involves meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent time management skills help in staying organized and delivering content within the expected timeframes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the creative team, such as designers, video editors, and marketing professionals, to ensure that the written content aligns well with visual and marketing strategies.
