About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Website Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, hosting, and maintaining a fully interactive website with integrated customer booking systems. The website will enable users to obtain real-time rates, make bookings, and manage both buy and sell rates with efficient billing and data handling.

As a Website Developer, you will have hands-on responsibility for both the front-end user experience and back-end functionality. You will design intuitive, user-friendly websites that ensure smooth user interactions and secure transactions, all while managing complex data sets for rate calculations and customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Design & Development:
• Design visually appealing, responsive, and interactive websites that engage customers.
• Develop front-end and back-end functionalities, ensuring user-friendly experiences for both customers and admin users.
• Implement dynamic content, including real-time rate displays and the ability to generate customer bookings.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to create a seamless experience across all devices.
• Booking & Rate Management System:
• Develop and integrate booking functionalities that allow customers to easily view, select, and book services based on real-time rates.
• Manage complex rate data for both "buy" and "sell" options, ensuring accurate rate calculations and display.
• Build an efficient and scalable back-end system for storing and processing transaction and user data, ensuring security and privacy.
• Data Management & Billing:
• Implement a robust database architecture to store customer and transaction data securely.
• Develop a billing system that integrates with the booking platform, generating invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations.
• Build mechanisms for managing customer accounts, historical transactions, and rate fluctuations.
• Website Hosting & Performance Optimization:
• Knowledge of various hosting platforms (e.g., shared, VPS, cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and selecting the right hosting solutions.
• Ensure the website's performance and speed, including optimization for scalability during high traffic or peak load periods.
• Ensure the website is mobile-friendly, responsive, and optimized for SEO.
• Security & Compliance:
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive customer information, including payment data.
• Stay updated on industry standards, compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS), and apply necessary controls for safe data handling.
• Maintenance & Support:
• Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to keep the website running smoothly and up to date with new technologies and features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to functionality, security, and data integrity.
• Collaboration & Reporting:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, marketers, business analysts) to ensure alignment on website goals and features.
• Provide regular updates on progress and status of project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, etc.).
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or for the front-end, and Laravel, Django, or for back-end development.
• Expertise in working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL for managing dynamic data.
• Familiarity with API integration for external systems (payment gateways, booking services, etc.).
• Experience with hosting platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, or on-premise hosting).
• Strong knowledge of content management systems (WordPress, Joomla, or custom CMS).
• Interactive Features & Design:
• Ability to implement and customize booking systems with dynamic content and real-time pricing.
• Familiarity with creating user-centered designs with intuitive navigation and features.
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles and mobile-first design.
• Security & Data Management:
• Familiarity with security best practices for web applications, including encryption, data protection, and safe API practices.
• Experience in handling sensitive customer data and payment processing (compliance with PCI DSS).
• Problem-Solving & Optimization:
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to website functionality.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques to ensure quick load times and high website availability.
• Communication & Collaboration:
• Strong communication skills to effectively work with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to write clear documentation for code, system architecture, and user guides.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git and GitHub.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in integrating payment gateways like PayPal, Stripe, or others.
• Background in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.) for tracking user behavior and optimizing the user journey.

Job Type: Freelance

Contract length: 18 months

Pay: ₹9, ₹44,813.64 per month

Work Location: Remote
