Role & responsibilities

We are seeking candidates with 2-4 years of experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman, preferably in the design and drafting of ash handling systems or heavy industrial plants, such as water treatment plants or Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) plants.

They shall be responsible for: (Role & responsibilities)

  • Prepare detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in drafted documents to meet project specifications and requirements.
  • Create and manage General Arrangement (GA) drawings, piping layouts, and plot plans.
  • Develop detailed piping layouts, isometric drawings, and cross-country piping layouts specifically for ash handling systems.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documents, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other supporting documentation.
  • Manage and organize documentation for drawing submissions and maintain accurate records of all drafts and revisions.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, precise technical drawings.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and effectively communicate with engineers and other stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to mechanical drafting and design.
