With multiple ongoing and upcoming projects, we are expanding our technical team and looking for a competent Mechanical/Electrical Draughtsman to support our project execution and engineering departments.

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical / Electrical Draughtsman (Male/Female) to join our technical team. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drafting work.

This role is crucial in supporting our engineering and project execution teams by producing highly accurate drawings, ensuring coordination across disciplines, and contributing to project documentation such as Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and as-laid drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive MEP drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) using AutoCAD and other relevant software tools.
  • Develop and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project drawings, specifications, and site changes.
  • Create accurate as-laid/as-built drawings reflecting final installations, in coordination with site teams.
  • Cross-check site measurements against approved drawings to ensure accuracy and document any discrepancies.
  • Support the engineering team in revising drawings based on design modifications or site requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with engineers, architects, and site supervisors to ensure smooth flow of information and accuracy in implementation.
  • Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant industry standards, local authority regulations, and project specifications.
  • Maintain organized documentation and control versions of technical drawings.
  • Attend project meetings, site inspections, and technical reviews as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in MEP drafting for construction projects.
  • Proven expertise in CAD
  • Strong background in preparing BOQs, extracting quantities from drawings, and understanding project specifications.
  • Hands-on experience in developing as-laid/as-built drawings and conducting on-site measurements.
  • Familiarity with MEP coordination practices and ability to interpret and integrate multi-disciplinary designs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Preferred Skills (Optional but Beneficial):

  • Understanding of construction site workflows and document control processes.
  • Exposure to green building standards and energy-efficient systems.
