Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer with 2+ years of experience to build and maintain high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS. The ideal candidate will be comfortable integrating native platform features directly from React Native, ensuring smooth interaction with platform-specific APIs and services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cross-Platform UI Development

  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for Android and iOS.
  • Create responsive UI layouts that work in both portrait and landscape orientations.
  • Ensure consistent UI/UX across devices and platforms.

2. Native Platform Integration

  • Implement native Android and iOS functionalities directly from React Native code without over-reliance on third-party plugins.
  • Integrate and manage services such as location tracking, media handling (microphone, audio recording, playback), and background services.

3. Networking

  • Integrate REST APIs for backend communication.
  • Handle authentication, error management, and performance optimization.

4. Build & Release Management

  • Generate APK (Android) and IPA (iOS) builds for internal testing and store release.
  • Manage signing, provisioning profiles, and app store submissions.

5. Collaboration & Execution

  • Deliver tasks and milestones on schedule.
  • Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and QA to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Follow coding best practices and maintain clean, well-documented code.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on React Native development experience.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Experience integrating native Android and iOS services into React Native apps.
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, state management (Redux, MobX, Context API).
  • Strong UI/UX skills for cross-platform layouts and responsive design.
  • Knowledge of build and release processes for both Android and iOS.
  • Experience with location services, background tasks, and media APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with push notifications, app lifecycle management, and offline data handling.
  • Understanding of native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) bridging.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for mobile apps.
