About the Role:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor In-Charge to oversee and manage all daily housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic appeal are maintained across the facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Management: Supervise and direct the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to required standards.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of all areas (e.g., offices, common areas, restrooms, etc.) to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are consistently met.
• Team Leadership: Train new housekeeping staff, provide ongoing coaching, and manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance.
• Inventory & Procurement: Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linen; initiate timely requests for restocking to avoid shortages.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained, stored properly, and in good working order; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures among the housekeeping staff. Ensure compliance with all company policies.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily work completed, staff attendance, inventory levels, and any incidents or issues that arise.
• Coordination: Liaise with other departments or management as needed to coordinate special cleaning tasks or address facility issues.
• Guest/Client Interaction (if applicable): Handle and resolve any complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in a supervisory or similar role within housekeeping, facility management, hospitality, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge: Proven knowledge of various cleaning methods, products, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or vocational training is a plus.
• Location: Must be based in or able to commute reliably to Vadapalani, Chennai.
