Job Brief

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of ground-mounted solar power projects across Telangana.

In this role, you will plan, manage, and deliver multiple solar projects, working closely with internal teams, EPC partners, and government authorities. You will ensure that every project is completed on time, within budget, and with high quality.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of 2 MW solar projects across multiple sites.
  • Create and track project schedules using tools like MS Project or Gantt charts.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress to meet deadlines and quality targets.

Cost Control & Budget Management

  • Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Negotiate prices with vendors and contractors to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Track and report budget vs. actual expenses to management.

Technical & Site Coordination

  • Review and approve technical designs, layouts, and SLDs.
  • Coordinate civil, structural, and electrical works at project sites.
  • Liaise with authorities for permits, synchronization, and compliance.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, guide, and mentor project engineers and site teams.
  • Build a motivated, high-performing team aligned with project goals.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Work with procurement to ensure timely material delivery.
  • Oversee logistics, vendor performance, and site readiness.

Reporting & Communication

  • Share regular updates on progress, challenges, and resource needs.
  • Communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all safety and environmental standards are met.
  • Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).(PMP certification or MBA is a plus.)
  • Experience:10+ years in project execution, with at least 7 years in solar power projects.
  • Minimum 2 years as Project Manager for MW-scale ground-mounted projects.
  • Strong in design validation and AutoCAD.
  • Skilled in MS Project or Primavera scheduling.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination abilities.
  • Fluent in English. Working knowledge of Telugu or Hindi preferred.
