Job Title: Data Labeller
Location: On-site – Kolkata
Employment Type: Contractual
Duration: 1 month
Compensation: ₹15k-₹18k
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Labeller to accurately classify, tag, and organize information from application forms and ledger entries. The role involves extracting, verifying, and labeling key details — such as names and addresses — to ensure records are complete, consistent, and easily searchable.
Key Responsibilities
- Review application forms and ledger entries.
- Accurately extract and label names, addresses, and other relevant data fields.
- Verify and cross-check extracted data against existing records for accuracy.
- Apply standard naming conventions and tagging protocols provided by the organization.
- Flag incomplete, unclear, or duplicate entries for review.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with data protection policies.
- Provide regular updates on progress and report any data inconsistencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Familiarity with data entry, tagging, or labelling tools (basic Excel or Google Sheets proficiency required).
- Ability to follow structured guidelines and classification standards.
- Good written communication skills in English (knowledge of local language preferred).
- Prior experience in data labelling, data entry, or record management is an advantage.
- High level of integrity and discretion with confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with administrative or official records.
- Familiarity with structured data labelling systems.
