Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Developer with strong Angular and NativeScript expertise to independently maintain and enhance enterprise mobile applications with AI integrations. This role focuses 100% on mobile development, requiring both technical proficiency and the ability to work with AI/ML features.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Development (100%)

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Angular + NativeScript
• Build new features and enhance existing enterprise mobile applications
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into mobile applications
• Implement responsive, performant mobile UIs following platform-specific design guidelines
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery consumption
• Handle device-specific features (camera, GPS, sensors, biometrics, file system)
• Ensure seamless offline-first functionality and data synchronization
• Debug and resolve mobile-specific issues across iOS and Android platforms
• Manage app deployment and updates on App Store and Google Play Store
• Write clean, maintainable code following Angular and mobile best practices

Integration & Architecture

• Integrate RESTful APIs and real-time services with mobile applications
• Implement AI/ML model integration (on-device or cloud-based)
• Design mobile-first architecture patterns
• Handle authentication, security, and data encryption for enterprise apps

Required Technical Skills

• Core Mobile Skills
• 3-5 years of mobile development experience
• Strong proficiency with NativeScript framework (NativeScript-Angular)
• Expert-level knowledge of Angular (ideally v12+, up to latest versions)
• Solid understanding of TypeScript, RxJS, and reactive programming
• Experience building and publishing apps on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play Store)
• Knowledge of native iOS and Android APIs through NativeScript plugins
• Understanding of mobile app lifecycle, memory management, and performance optimisation.

AI/ML Integration

• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML features into mobile applications
• Familiarity with AI/ML services (TensorFlow Lite, Core ML, cloud ML APIs)
• Understanding of on-device ML vs cloud-based ML trade-offs
• Experience with AI features like image recognition, NLP, predictive analytics, or recommendation systems
• Knowledge of handling ML model integration and updates in production apps

Additional Requirements

• Experience with both web (Angular) and mobile development
• Proficient with Git version control
• Understanding of RESTful API integration and WebSocket connections
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices (encryption, secure storage, certificate pinning)
• Experience with push notifications and background tasks
• Understanding of responsive design and adaptive layouts for various screen sizes
• Strong debugging skills using Chrome DevTools, Safari Web Inspector, and platform-specific tools

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of (helpful but optional)
• Experience with state management (NgRx, Akita, or similar)
• Familiarity with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks (Appium, Detox)
