About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and artistic Motion Graphic Designer to bring history

to life through compelling visuals and animations at our History Experience Center. The

ideal candidate is a graduate from a renowned design or art college (such as NID, NIFT,

JJ School of Art, Srishti, Chitrakala parishad etc.), with a deep passion for storytelling

through motion design and a keen eye for the latest trends in visual communication.

In this role, you will work closely with curators, content creators, and experience designers to

translate historical narratives into engaging, immersive digital content that captivates modern

audiences.

Key Responsibilities

●
Creative Content Development

○ Design and produce high-quality motion graphics for immersive installations, projection mapping, digital exhibits, interactive displays, and promotional materials.

○ Translate historical themes, events, and stories into visually compelling motion design assets.

●
Conceptualization & Storyboarding

○ Collaborate with the content and design teams to develop visual storytelling concepts and motion narratives.

Create detailed storyboards, animatics, and visual treatments aligned with the center's historical and educational goals.

Execution & Delivery

○ Animate typography, characters, infographics, and illustrative elements with fluid motion and attention to detail.

○ Deliver files optimized for various formats, including large-screen projections,

touchscreen displays, and social media platforms.

Trend & Tech Awareness

○ Stay updated with the latest motion design trends, tools, and techniques

(2D/3D animation, VFX, kinetic typography, etc.).

○ Experiment with emerging platforms such as AR/VR to enhance the

storytelling experience.

●
Collaboration

○ Work alongside content creators, curators, historians, designers, and

developers to ensure a cohesive visitor experience.

○ Take creative feedback constructively and adapt designs to align with the

center's vision.

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Animation, Motion Design, Visual Communication, or related field from a reputed design or art college.

● 3–5 years of experience in motion graphics, animation, or multimedia design.

● Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. Bonus: Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D tools.

● Strong artistic sense, storytelling ability, and attention to detail.

● Portfolio demonstrating a range of motion design projects and visual styles.

Desirable Skills

● Interest in art, history, design, culture, and educational storytelling.

● Experience working on museum, heritage, or experiential design projects will be a ++

● Basic understanding of video editing, colour grading, sound design, and integration will be a ++
