Sr. Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee financial transactions, ensure accurate record-keeping, and maintain compliance with accounting and tax regulations. A strong focus on accuracy, analytical abilities, and organizational skills is essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase Entries: Record and verify all purchase transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness in the financial system.
• GST Filing: Prepare and file GST returns in compliance with regulatory timelines and requirements.
• Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and meticulous financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other relevant documents.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of financial accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations to ensure full compliance.
• Compliance & Audit
• Specialist with expertise in direct & indirect tax, Strong accounting software, regulatory compliance, bookkeeping processes, TDS, GST.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Monitor financial performance and analyze variances against budgets and forecasts.
• Audit Support: Provide documentation and support for both internal and external audits
• Invoicing & Documentation Oversight
• Ensure accurate and timely generation of customer invoices in line with purchase order.
• Verify and monitor all supporting documentation for statutory and internal compliance.
• Approve necessary invoice corrections or re-issuance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally Prime.
• Strong knowledge of GST regulations and filing processes.
• Banking Knowledge and bank related documentation preparation work preferred.
• Knowledge in duty payment and IEC renewal.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
