We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our fast-growing auto components manufacturing unit in Sangli. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily production operations, ensure adherence to quality standards, optimize machining and manufacturing processes, and lead the shop floor team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the production processes in the machine shop to ensure timely completion of daily production targets.
  • Monitor machining quality and perform CMM inspections to maintain product accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Implement Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Manage manpower handling, including scheduling, training, and supervising shop floor workers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and quality teams to resolve production and quality issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, process changes, and quality inspections.
  • Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Utilize knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine shop operations to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of production supervising, machining processes, and machine shop production.
  • Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and quality control procedures.
  • Proficiency in daily production planning, manpower handling, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with VMC (Vertical Machining Center) operations is a plus.
  • Ability to drive Kaizen initiatives and continuous process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Marathi, and Hindi.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team on the shop floor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Previous experience in the auto components manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of various vehicle categories and related manufacturing standards.
