Associate Consultant

Key Responsibilities:Patient Care
- Provide comprehensive medical management to patients admitted in the CCU.
- Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic parameters, ventilator settings, and laboratory results.
- Manage cardiac emergencies such as acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, cardiogenic shock, and cardiac arrest.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and assist in life-saving interventions.
- Ensure infection control and safety protocols are strictly followed.
Clinical Support
- Assist consultants in performing invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies (Code Blue, cardiac arrests, resuscitations).
- Document all patient records, clinical findings, and treatment updates accurately.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams (nursing staff, technicians, physiotherapists, dietitians) for holistic patient management.
Academic & Training
- Guide and supervise junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff in CCU protocols.
- Participate in continuing medical education (CME) programs, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Administrative & Compliance
- Maintain proper medical documentation, discharge summaries, and handover reports.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH/JCI standards, and medical ethics.
- Support the hospital in audits, clinical governance, and patient safety initiatives.Role & responsibilities
