At Vopais, we're building a next-gen AI Center of Excellence to democratize AI and ML for both technical and business users, accelerating the adoption of advanced analytics, automation, and GenAI outcomes worldwide.

Your Mission :

As the AI/ML Technical Capability Owner, you will architect, enforce, and evangelize the "golden paths" of AI/ML delivery spanning reference architectures, toolset curation, and technical enablement. You'll bridge teams from enterprise architects to data science, security, and business units, ensuring scalable and compliant AI/ML solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Platform Strategy Ownership : Drive end-to-end technical strategy and roadmap for the AI CoE. Set technical guardrails, accelerators, reference patterns, and default standards for AIML delivery.

- Technical Blueprinting : Architect, document, and maintain reusable frameworks and modules on AWS and Databricks (batch/streaming, feature stores, RAG/GenAI, agentic AI, CI/CD).

- Tools and Platform Curation : Curate, evaluate, and drive adoption of essential toolsets for Data, ML, GenAI, and MLOps-across Databricks Lakehouse, MLflow, Feature Store, AWS S3, Lambda, Bedrock, KMS/IAM, etc.

- Governance and Risk Compliance : Set and enforce standards for experiment tracking, model registry, PII compliance, data lineage, security, and incident response. Contribute improvements to company's AI Policy.

- Community Leadership : Lead and grow engineering guilds, organize enablement workshops, drive adoption of best practices, and support "train-the-trainer" models for scaling impact.

Collaboration and Acceleration : Advise on architecture reviews, promote the use of shared services (feature store, model registry), and champion quick resolution of technical blockers.

- Evangilism and Reporting : Present successes, KPIs, adoption wins, and technical value to both executive and engineering stakeholders. Create tech talks, memos, and deep dives.

What makes you a great fit :

years' experience in data/ML platform engineering or ML architecture (at least 3 yrs designing on AWS and Databricks)

- Hands-on building reference architectures, accelerators, CI/CD for ML, and large-scale ML/GenAI solutions

- Deep experience with MLOps : MLflow, model registry, feature stores, observability, testing

- Working knowledge of GenAI tech : RAG, vector search, prompt orchestration, safety, evaluation

- Security-first mindset : KMS, IAM, cloud network/data controls, compliance

- Excellent influencer across technical and business teams. Skilled at organizing guilds/workshops and presenting at all levels.

- AWS/Databricks certifications, IaC (Terraform), Kubernetes, Unity Catalog, and/or experience in industrial IoT/edge is a plus
