Role Summary

The Financial Controller will lead the finance and accounting vertical at MicroMitti's Indore headquarters. The role ensures accuracy in financial reporting, governance, compliance, treasury management, and investor reporting across the company and its SPVs. The Controller will support strategic planning, project-level financial management, and company-wide financial discipline.

Key Result Areas (KRA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

  • Financial Reporting and Accounting Accuracy

KRA

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintenance of accurate accounting records and ledgers for all entities.
  • Delivery of error-free MIS reports for leadership review.

KPI

  • Timeliness of monthly closures and reporting.
  • Zero major audit observations or restatements.
  • Accuracy level of MIS reports measured through variance checks.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning

KRA

  • Leading budgeting cycles for company and projects.
  • Conducting financial forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Variance analysis with recommended corrective actions.

KPI

  • Budget-to-actual variance maintained within accepted company thresholds.
  • Forecast accuracy percentage each quarter.
  • Number of actionable insights successfully implemented.
  • Treasury, Cash Flow Management, and Fund Allocation

KRA

  • Managing liquidity planning and ensuring smooth cash flow operations.
  • Overseeing banking operations, loan documentation, and fund disbursements.
  • Monitoring project-wise cash flows and fund utilization.

KPI

  • Zero cash flow failures or delays in critical payouts.
  • Improvement in working capital efficiency.
  • Optimal utilization ratio of debt and equity across projects.
  • Compliance, Audit, and Risk Management

KRA

  • Ensuring adherence to GST, ROC, Income Tax, RERA, SEBI, and other regulatory norms.
  • Coordinating statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Implementation of internal controls to minimize financial risks.

KPI

  • Zero non-compliance notices or penalties.
  • Successful closure of audits within timelines.
  • Reduction in repeated audit findings and control gaps.
  • Investor Reporting and Due Diligence

KRA

  • Preparation of investor MIS, project NAV updates, and performance summaries.
  • Support during investor due diligence, funding rounds, and financial evaluations.
  • Maintaining documentation for investors and lending institutions.

KPI

  • Accuracy and punctuality of investor MIS submissions.
  • Quality of financial documents during due diligence.
  • Investor satisfaction is measured through feedback or response efficiency.
  • Process, Systems, and Team Leadership

KRA

  • Strengthening finance systems, ERP implementation, and automation.
  • Improving procurement, payout, and approval workflows.
  • Leading, mentoring, and upskilling the finance team.

KPI

  • Reduction in manual interventions and processing errors.
  • Implementation rate of new processes and automation initiatives.
  • Team productivity is measured through timely task completion and quality scores.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Chartered Accountant with 6 to 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in real estate, infrastructure, PropTech, or investment-driven companies is preferred.
  • Expertise in Ind AS, Indian taxation, compliance frameworks, and SPV structures.
  • Strong financial planning and modelling capability.
  • Experience working with Zoho Books, Tally Prime, or similar systems.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
