Job Overview:
Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing data pipelines and data infrastructure on Azure. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen understanding of data management, and proficiency in Azure technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data ingestion processes using Azure Data Factory.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for data processing and transformation services.
- Work with SQL databases and Azure services like Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Data Lake.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure the architecture supports their needs.
- Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance.
- Ensure data security and compliance with governance policies.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture and ETL processes.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with at least 2 years focusing on Azure technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
- Proficiency in writing T-SQL queries and experience with SQL Server.
- Experience with data storage solutions such as Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and best coding practices.
- Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages for data processing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (GIT).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
