Application Tester

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with strong expertise in manual and performance testing for mobile applications (Android & iOS) and websites. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality releases through thorough functional, regression, usability, and performance testing — while collaborating closely with developers and product teams to maintain excellence in every release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing for mobile apps and websites, including functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Conduct performance testing (load, stress, scalability) for mobile apps, websites, and APIs.
• Validate API functionality and performance using tools such as Postman and JMeter.
• Create, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA leads to ensure smooth releases and timely bug resolutions.
• Support in designing and executing basic automation scripts using tools like Selenium or Appium.
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform compatibility testing for responsive performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing for mobile and web applications.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX validation, cross-browser, and responsive design testing.
• Hands-on experience in performance testing across apps, websites, and APIs.
• Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, JMeter).
• Basic knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium).
• Solid grasp of STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Basic understanding of security testing concepts for web and mobile applications.
