Overview:

We are seeking a talented
PowerApps Developer
with a strong background in
low-code/no-code platforms
to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications on the
Microsoft Power Platform
, specifically leveraging
PowerApps
for rapid application development. You will play a key role in the integration, deployment, and optimisation of solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, and other relevant tools, while ensuring smooth connectivity with various data sources, external APIs, and supporting efficient, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Development of PowerApps Solutions
:

• Design, develop, and deploy
  low-code/no-code
  apps using
  PowerApps Studio
  .
• Create user-friendly applications that integrate with existing business data, workflows, and services.
• Develop
  custom connectors
  to integrate third-party services or external APIs.
• Troubleshoot and debug app issues to ensure seamless performance.

Data Integration & Connectivity
:

• Configure and manage
  connectors
  (both standard and custom) for accessing and manipulating data in platforms like
  SharePoint
  ,
  Dynamics 365
  ,
  SQL Server
  ,
  Excel
  , etc.
• Work with
  Power Automate
  to create automated workflows between systems and integrate data in real-time.
• Ensure data security and manage access to sensitive information through
  role-based security
  settings.

Deployment and Scalability
:

• Collaborate with the team to establish effective
  deployment pipelines
  using
  Azure DevOps
  or other CI/CD tools.
• Support the scalability of apps, ensuring they handle large user bases and complex data.
• Monitor app usage, performance, and handle troubleshooting or performance optimization as needed.

Governance & Compliance
:

• Implement governance strategies to ensure secure and compliant use of PowerApps within the organisation.
• Enforce
  best practices
  for data management, user roles, and permissions.
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations regarding data security and privacy.

Support & Maintenance
:

• Provide ongoing
  support and maintenance
  for PowerApps solutions, ensuring they are updated to meet business needs.
• Work with business users to refine app features based on feedback and evolving requirements.
• Create documentation for app usage and troubleshooting procedures.

Training and Knowledge Sharing
:

• Provide training and guidance to
  citizen developers
  and business users on how to use PowerApps.
• Share knowledge on best practices for app development, data integration, and security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience
  with
  Microsoft PowerApps
  development, including designing and implementing apps in
  PowerApps Studio
  .
• Strong understanding of
  low-code/no-code platforms
  and experience building apps using drag-and-drop functionality.
• Experience with data integration
  using
  Power Automate
  , custom connectors, and integration with platforms like
  SharePoint
  ,
  SQL
  ,
  Excel
  ,
  Dynamics 365
  , and external APIs.
• Familiarity with
  Azure
  services and cloud infrastructure for app hosting and deployment.
• Knowledge of
  data governance
  ,
  security
  , and
  compliance
  management for PowerApps solutions.
• Ability to work with
  role-based access control
  and manage user permissions for different PowerApps environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  to resolve issues within PowerApps solutions and integrations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with
  Azure DevOps
  or
  GitHub
  for app version control and continuous deployment.
• Familiarity with
  Power BI
  for integrating reporting and data visualisation.
• Certification in Microsoft Power Platform
  or
  PowerApps
  is a plus.
• Knowledge of
  PowerFx
  (PowerApps formula language) and experience writing complex formulas for app logic.
