Role Overview

We are seeking a talented
Data Engineer
with 3–6 years of experience to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, models, and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud-based solutions
, working closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and reliable data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data requirements from business stakeholders.
  • Perform data exploration, cleaning, and transformation.
  • Design and implement
    data models
    for analytics and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain
    scalable ETL pipelines and workflows
    .
  • Build and optimize data solutions using
    Databricks, PySpark, and SQL
    .
  • Write and execute
    unit test cases
    to ensure high-quality data outputs.
  • Maintain technical documentation (requirements, design specifications, backend APIs).
  • Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and Product teams to deliver
    end-to-end solutions
    .
  • Update tasks and progress regularly in
    JIRA
    .

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in
    ETL processes and data warehousing
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    PostgreSQL
    and other relational databases.
  • Good understanding of
    cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
    .
  • Ability to write
    clean, reusable, and optimized code
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    technical documentation best practices
    .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in handling
    large-scale datasets
    and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD for data pipelines
    .
  • Exposure to
    data security and governance practices
    .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
