Position Summary:

The Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of extruders and ancillary equipment. This role also involves attending service visits, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing customer support to ensure seamless operations.

Technical Skills:

1. Strong understanding of machine and mechanical parts manufacturing processes.

2. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

3. Proficiency in 
SolidWorks
 and 
AutoCAD
.

4. Experience in 
project management
 and handling technical assignments.

5. Knowledge of 
quality assurance and control
 practices.

6. Basic understanding of 
electrical systems
 and wiring.

7. Proficiency in 
MS Office
, especially 
Excel
.

Key Responsibilities:

· 
Installation Commissioning:
 Install and commission extruders and ancillary equipment, including gravimetric feeders, UWP, strand pelletizers, etc.

· 
Troubleshooting Support:
 Perform electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and provide 
online technical support
 to customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

· 
Project Communication:
 Facilitate post-order technical communication regarding project progress and drawing approvals.

· 
Pre-Commissioning Support:
 Assist in utility preparation and pre-commissioning as per customer requirements.

· 
Customer Issue Resolution:
 Collaborate with stakeholders to address customer complaints, implement corrective actions, and ensure closure with 
CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
.

· 
Design Improvements:
 Identify areas for improvement and provide design change recommendations.

· 
Sales Project Support:
 Provide technical insights to the sales team for new projects, suggesting 
upgrades and scope enhancements
.

· 
Knowledge Sharing:
 Participate in 
PCR (Project Completion Review) meetings
, sharing lessons learned from previous experiences and customer feedback.
