  • Interpret imaging studies (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, PET-CT, Mammography, etc.) and provide detailed reports.
  • Consult with clinicians regarding imaging findings and recommendations.
  • Oversee quality control of imaging, ensure imaging protocols are optimized and safe.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, tumor boards, clinical case reviews.
  • Supervise and mentor junior radiologists, radiology technicians, and residents.
  • Keep up to date with advances in radiology, attend conferences, participate in continuing education.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards (radiation safety, accreditation, etc.).Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

  • MD / DNB / equivalent in Radiology (or recognized postgraduate qualification).
  • At least X years (e.g. 5 years) of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in a hospital/clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in cross-sectional imaging (CT), ultrasound, conventional radiology, and subspecialty protocols.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, ability to handle complex cases.
  • Good communication skills, able to interact with clinicians and patients.
  • Ability to work independently, manage workflow, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and imaging informatics tools.
  • Ethical, detail-oriented, team player.
