Familiarity with large-scale data systems, ETL pipelines, and modern database optimization practices will be a strong advantage.

About the Role

As a PL/SQL Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Optimize and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance.
  • Analyze business and data requirements and translate them into efficient backend logic and structures.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and architects to design scalable database solutions.
  • Create and maintain database documentation, process flows, and data dictionaries.
  • Implement change management, version control, and deployment standards.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues related to query optimization and data integrity.
  • Participate in code reviews, peer testing, and agile sprints.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data protection standards.
  • Provide production support, including on-call assistance when required.

What We Like to See in You

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and relational database design.
  • Hands-on experience working with Oracle 11g/12c/19c or newer.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning, debugging, and optimizing high-volume database systems.
  • Experience with ETL workflows, data migration, and systems integration.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Forms/Reports.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to Data Warehousing or BI systems.
  • Certification in Oracle PL/SQL Development or Database Administration.
