- Oversee procurement, deployment, lifecycle management, and decommissioning of hardware assets such as transformers, metering devices, handheld billing machines, and IT infrastructure used in power distribution and utility automation.
- Utilize advanced inventory control and asset tracking software, including in-house developed platforms, to accurately document, tag, and monitor all hardware assets across projects and geographies.
- Coordinate asset audits, user training, and data entry to ensure real-time tracking, reduce losses, and enable timely maintenance or upgrades for assets critical to utility performance.
- Liaise with procurement and engineering teams for cost-effective purchasing, warranty compliance, and vendor management, particularly for the manufacturing and field operations segments.
- Implement, refine, and enforce organizational policies for secure handling and disposal of obsolete or surplus equipment in line with SCL's innovation and sustainability goals.
- Support integration of hardware asset data into business applications, energy accounting, and resource planning software implemented by SCL, driving better decision-making for power utilities.
- Ensure compliance with governmental and industry standards for traceability, reporting, and safety, essential in SCL's operations with state and public sector energy providers.
