Professor - Medicine

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor Medicine to lead undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, clinical services, and academic activities in the Department of Medicine. The role involves delivering high-quality medical education, mentoring postgraduate students, and contributing to research and institutional development in accordance with prevailing NMC/NBEMS regulations effective from 30 June

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Medicine.
• Guide and mentor PG students in academics, research, and clinical practice.
• Provide advanced patient care as a Senior Consultant in Medicine.
• Participate in curriculum development, examinations, and academic audits.
• Publish research papers and contribute to academic and clinical research activities.
• Ensure compliance with NMC/NBEMS norms and institutional policies.
• Support departmental administration and quality improvement initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a Senior Consultant / PG Teacher in Medicine.
• Minimum 3 years of full-time PG teaching experience after eligibility as Senior Consultant / PG Teacher.
• Teaching experience must be from an NBEMS-accredited Government Institute .
• PG teaching experience should be in a dedicated Medicine department/unit .
• Institute must be NMC-recognised or otherwise approved.

Documents Required:

• Valid experience certificates from the Government Institute served as PG Teacher / Senior Consultant.
