Medical Coder

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of human anatomy, and knowledge of hospital products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Medical Document Analysis: Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding using ICD 10 and CPT Codes.
• Product Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of hospital products to assist in documentation and billing processes.
• Terminology Expertise: Maintain command of medical terminologies and ensure correct usage in documentation.
• Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
• Billing Coordination: Collaborate with the billing department.

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in medical coding including ENM
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, medical practitioners, insurance providers, and patients.
• Anatomy Knowledge: Strong understanding of human anatomy and the ability to apply this knowledge in medical documentation.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with products utilized in hospitals and their applications.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and reasoning skills to interpret medical records and provide actionable insights.
• Education: B.Sc, Pharmacy, Dental (Medical) or any related field graduate.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical Documentation and analyzing those to yield desired results.
