Job Description

Opportunity Summary:

We are looking for a NetSuite Developer to join our dynamic Business Systems team.  This person will build and maintain code and functionality in our NetSuite environment to support the operations of the Finance and Accounting business units.

The NetSuite developer plays an important role in our company.  Our ideal candidate will be responsible for working with business users, business analysts, QA testers, and project managers, in building and maintaining critical solutions in our NetSuite instance and other financial systems. .

What would you do?

• Develop and configure NetSuite ERP solutions related to invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payables, taxes, and general accounting processes.
• Build different type of financial reports in NetSuite.
• Work closely with NetSuite functional consultants and business users to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Responsible for any NetSuite code development.
• Perform data migration and bulk-updates with high level of quality and security, minimizing the risks of failures.
• Develop integration solutions between NetSuite and other external systems, such as Salesforce and Avalara.
• Write technical change request documents for medium to large projects.
• Work on other tasks related to the position, such as NetSuite Sandbox refreshes, data backups, code migration, etc.
• Periodically present the status of assigned tasks.

Experience

· years as a NetSuite developer.

· years developing, testing and deploying NetSuite customizations

·       BS degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

·       NetSuite certifications

Primary Skills (2-3 mandatory skills)

·       Experience with the following processes in NetSuite:  Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Record to Report

·       Hands-on skills with:

o   SuiteScript types: SUITElets, RESTlets, User Event Scripts, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, Workflow Actions, PORTlet, Mass Update.

o   SuiteFlow (Workflow).

o   SuiteBuilder (Custom objects).

o   SuiteAnalytics (Reports, Saved Searches, Datasets, Workbooks).

·       Must be available online until 4pm CT timezone Mon-Fri.

Secondary Skills (nice to have)

·       Integration with other business systems:  Salesforce, Avalara, etc

·       Experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools a plus

·       Strong attention to detail and root cause analytical skills.  Able to continuously dig into issues until a resolution is achieved.

Qualification

This role requires overlap with multiple time zones for planning meetings, status updates etc. on a regular basis. The duration of these overlaps can change depending on the type of meeting. About the Business Systems team

The Business Systems Team implements and supports specialized applications that support our business processes within Upland Software.

We are directly responsible for all of Upland's sales, customer success, accounting, and finance systems and enterprise applications integrations. We build and extend these applications to support the processes of our business partners and rationalize our application landscape to ensure it is optimized for efficiency and spend.

These internal-facing applications include a multitude of different applications and environments, including Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Boomi, Spiff, SQL, Snowflake, UKG, etc.

Our Business Systems team is made up of a combination of roles to best support the services we offer.
