Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and experienced Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team at our Ranchi office. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of design techniques, current fashion trends, and consumer preferences. They must be capable of creating original, innovative, and market-relevant clothing designs across various categories.
Key Responsibilities- Research current fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and techniques to create innovative and appealing designs
- Design and develop original clothing concepts across various categories (e.g., casual, formal, ethnic, fusion)
- Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and technical specifications for each design
- Select appropriate fabrics, embellishments, and materials aligned with the design concept and budget
- Collaborate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams to ensure accurate sample development
- Oversee the entire design lifecycle—from concept to final product—ensuring quality and fit standards
- Adapt designs based on market feedback, sales data, and evolving customer preferences
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors and industry movements to stay ahead of trends
- Attend fashion shows, exhibitions, and industry events for inspiration and market insights
- Coordinate with the marketing and merchandising teams for product launches, campaigns, and styling
