About the Role:

We are looking for a Python Automation Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation testing frameworks, scripting in Python, and ensuring software quality through robust test design and execution. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python-based frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, or unittest).
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and system tests for web and API-based applications.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and define test coverage.
  • Build and manage test automation frameworks and reusable components.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Identify, analyze, and report bugs or issues through defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

Key Skills :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Automation Tester or QA Engineer with a focus on Python scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Python-based test automation frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework, Behave, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (manual and automated).
  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Requests library.
  • Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Appium for web and mobile testing.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.).
