Description

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
  • Allocate resources and manage project timelines effectively.

Design & Implementation

  • Oversee electrical system design for new installations and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and other relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with automation and instrumentation teams for integrated solutions.

Maintenance & Reliability

  • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues in manufacturing equipment and utilities.

Project Management

  • Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for project execution.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and safety norms.
  • Implement energy conservation measures and sustainability initiatives.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain electrical drawings, SOPs, and validation documents.
  • Prepare reports for audits and management reviews.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8–12 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in pharma or process industries.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, MCC, PCC, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (USFDA, EU GMP) and GxP compliance.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
