About you and the role:
As a Production Engineer you will serve as a vital resource for operations by applying technical skills to optimize plant operations, resolve plant problems, and enable safe and efficient production of low cost, quality products. You will need conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within job discipline. You will be performing routine assignments and solve standard problems using existing procedures. You will need to apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the operations team to solve problems and optimize plant performance using technical expertise.
- Applies and challenges Most Effective Technology (MET) practices and works with experts for troubleshooting and process improvements.
- Diagnoses and documents root causes of operational losses, ensuring strong field presence and adherence to procedures.
- Monitors daily Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and plant performance metrics to maintain optimal efficiency.
- Responds swiftly to plant issues and emergencies, leading corrective and preventative action implementation.
- Ensures compliance with operating permits and contributes to optimizing the overall site system, including raw material efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, passed with minimum first class
- 0 (fresher) to 3 years of working experience
- A certification in MS-Office with advance programming in Excel, Power BI will be added advantage
